Who are the Guardians of Truth and Integrity?

BHAVI hosts an annual Guardians Conference every October 9 to answer this question. We accept nominations each year for Guardians of Truth and Integrity but do not necessarily award the honor each year. We only recognize a nominee as a Guardian of Truth and Integrity if we believe the scholar has served as a lifetime defender of truth and integrity, and has risen to the highest level of commitment to action and intervention speaking truth to power. For scholars who wish to present their research at Guardians 2026, the Call for Reports provides information and links to instructions for submission of manuscripts.
